Well, it's already time to go back to work tomorrow ;(  if work was only crafting and Stampin' UP! I would be in HEAVEN...Here are a couple of cards I made this weekend. Both are simple, sometimes "less is more". The anniversary card I cased from  Jeanne Moss, thanks Jeanne I loved the colors and layout. The Celebrate card was intentionally simple. I am having a "Craft Day" at my house for my neighbors on Saturday Oct 3rd. I wanted to send a handmade invitation and one that wasn't too difficult. I am really looking forward to Saturday. I have several neighbors who have expressed an interest in "Playing".

It's hard to see but the base of this card is black, the ink on the whisper white is Bermuda Bay and Night of Navy, using the Circle Circus stamp set.
Card stock used: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Whisper White.

Greenhouse Garden

Hi All,  I haven't had much time to play in craft central this weekend, however, after I put Punkin-head (my 16 month old grandson) to bed I made a card. It's a little out of my comfort zone. I keep wanting to incorporate circles (using my circle scissors plus) into my cards, but I always think they look funny. Soooo, given that, feel free to tell me if I missed the mark here. I wanted to use the Melon Mambo Polka-dot ribbon however, I adhered everything then realized I hadn't left the right amount of room. Oh, well, I'll keep practicing.  I used the Greenhouse Garden stamp set and Sincere Salutations.

Gift Bag and Contents

Hi All,  Well, I've had a great 4 days. I took last Friday off, and today, Monday...so I had a great 4 day weekend and spent 75% of it in Craft Central (my craft room). After going to Stampin' Up! Regionals on Friday I spent the next three days playing in Craft Central. One of the things I like to do is to cover gift bags. Sometimes I also create matching items for the bags to give as gifts. This particular bag was made with the Sweet Slumber paper (love it, and now it's gone) it was from the last book but I loved the paper so much I decided to go ahead and create a set in it.

The set includes: The covered gift bag, a notecard holder that has 4 notecards and envelopers, post-it note holder, smll notepad, set of 4 small 3x3 cards, and a bookmark. This is a great gift idea. I've sold several of these at craft shows and am hoping to do that again this fall. Take a look and let me know what you think.

How Cool....Regionals in Cincinnatti were Awesome

WOW, that's about all I can say. Being relatively new to Stampin' Up! and having never had the opportunity to a major event, (next year I am going to Convention no matter what...I've informed my husband of that too ;-) I had no idea what to expect let alone that Shelli Gardner (Cofounder and CEO of Stampin' UP!)would be there. What a GREAT surprise AND my friend Becky and I had a table right in the front. It was AWESOME. Of course I have to post some pics and especially the one with me and Shelli, she's soooo down to earth, pleasant, and aproachable. It was really great. I am also going to post some pics showing vaious shots of the convention room, and some of the swaps and demo's that were on display.

I do not know who made this purse card but it is adorable.
Shelli demonstrated how to make this flower, isn't is cute.
There was a ton of cute stuff with the "Build a Bear" series. I haven't had a chance to purchase all of the Build a Bear items but I am definitely going to!!!

This is just a portion of the room. There were tons of people (well, it was tons to me but I know it is small compared to Convention).

This is my friend Becky who went with me. We had a really great time.
Here's a few of the swaps that were hung up.

Regional Card Swap

Ok, so after much playing in craft central I found my craft-mojo. I think this card is pretty cute. Unfortunately it takes a good bit of time to make because of all the two-step stamping. I am making 100 of these cards. I think this pattern would make a good designer paper. My daughter thought it was. I don't think the picture does it justice. I am not sure if you can tell but in addition to the 2-step stamping I also cut out a large flower and a small flower and adhered with dimensionals and put dazzling diamonds in the center.

Where's my creativity gone?????

Hello all. I was sooooo excited for a three day weekend. I was going to craft until I couldn't stand it. I was going to get started on a card that I need to make 100 of for the swap at regionals on the 11th. I haven't figured out what to make yet. I made one card last night, I thought it was a little lame, so I asked my daughter, ummmm yah, she agreed, so needless to say I am back to the drawing board. Hmmm, surely I'll come up with something and SOON...stay tuned, if I do, you know I'll post it. Who knows, maybe I'll post the 'lame' one too - ha.
